Manuel Medina is a musician who has played keyboards and piano in the Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland area for 8 years. Originally from Lima, Peru, he started taking piano lessons at the age of 10 and entered the Catholic University of Peru to study Computer Science.

     In the US he has worked playing keyboards with contemporary rock and pop bands, churches, private events and personal projects that involve digital recording, sound design, music composition, sound effects, MIDI programming, 3d animation and graphic design.

    Currently he is enrolled in George Mason University (Fairfax, Virginia) pursuing a Degree in Computer Game Design with a concentration in Music Composition and a minor in Jazz Studies. He does freelance composing/sound design work for independent video/game producers and app developers and he is a freelance keyboardist with local pop and jazz bands in the DMV area. Also, freelance graphic design for local writers and entrepreneurs.
